Say NO to the Politicization of Voting Rights

The National Campaign for Fair Elections and the Lawyers’ Committee have been successfully leading an effort in the Senate to expose the horrific voting rights record of a recent nomination to the Federal Election Commission, Hans von Spakovsky. Von Spakovsky is one of the chief architects, along with Bradley Scholzman, of a strategy to use federal voter protections for partisan ends. The biggest Presidential Election in a generation has already begun in earnest. It is vital election officials keep partisan politics out of the important work of voting rights and electoral reform.
