Volunteers needed for Election Protection for February 5, 2008 in California, Georgia, Illinois, and New York.
Attorneys, law students, and paralegals are needed to help us staff the hotline in Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City. Legal volunteers are also needed in targeted locations to serve in various roles on Election Day.
Don't have a legal background? You can still sign up to volunteer with us. We need many volunteers to make Election Protection a success.
After you complete the form below, you will be directed to our Events page to sign up for a training. All volunteers must attend one training session. You can locate trainings in your area through a zip code search. Click Signup to Attend This Event, then RSVP. You may need to create a password to complete your sign up. This important step will allow you to log back in to the website any time to confirm your training or shifts and sign up for additional events.
After signing up for a training, click "Find An Event" page to sign up for volunteer shifts. Volunteer shifts are also searchable by zip code. You can sign up for multiple shifts on and before Election Day but you need to sign up for each shift one at a time.
You will receive an email confirmation when you sign up for your training and for each volunteer shift.
